After graduating from the Loyola University of Chicago in 1995 with a B.S. degree, Melissa enrolled at Chicago-Kent College of Law through the Illinois Institution of Technology (IIT), where she completed her law degree in 1998. After receiving her Juris Doctorate, she immediately began her career at the Cook County Public Defender Law Office. She acted as an Assistant Public Defender for six years before establishing her law practice in August of 2005. Since she began her career as a defense lawyer, Melissa has been devoted to defending the rights, reputations, and civil liberties of all clients who have been accused of criminal and quasi-criminal offenses.
With over 22 years of experience, Melissa has expertly defended severe criminal cases and has a proven track record for succeeding in trials.
